Duette Bathroom Blinds

Our Duette blinds are made from 100% polyester, which makes them totally impervious to moisture. Duette blinds are also good insulators which is a must for single glazed windows but also desirable on double and even triple-glazed windows.

Top-Down, Bottom-Up Duette Blinds

One of our most popular Duette blinds is the top-down, bottom-up model. This blind can stack at the top as usual, but it can also stack at the bottom if required. This is great for bathrooms where privacy is an issue at the same level as your bathroom window or below. You can draw a bottom-up blind up from the sill to the level that gives you perfect privacy. Yet still allowing natural light to spill over the top to beautifully illuminate your bathroom.

Three Types of Fabric

Duette fabric comes in three types, transparent, dim-out and translucent. It’s the translucent one that’s most popular for bathrooms as that allows light to pass through the blind whilst giving you perfect privacy both by day and by night.

Child Safe and Easy to Operate

Duette blinds can be operated by a totally child-safe cord mechanism called SmartCord. Or, for the ultimate in convenience, your entire Duette blind can be operated by remote control or even linked into your chosen home automation system.

Wire-Free

And, there’s no need to worry about needing electricity to power your bathroom blinds. The blinds are all powered by batteries, making them totally safe in a humid environment.

We also fit a lot of shutters in bathrooms and wet rooms.

We have various materials available to us so we can design your shutters according to the levels of humidity expected. We even have a shutter material which is entirely waterproof if required.

This material is called Java and is made from ABS – an extremely tough and waterproof substrate – ideal for shutters that will remain permanently wet.
