Where it all started

Dundee is our home. The Scottish Shutter Company was founded here in 1987, and our headquarters and original Design Studio have been in the city ever since. We know the houses, the architecture, and the light conditions that make Dundee unique.

From the stone built villas of Broughty Ferry to the modern waterfront developments along the Tay, from Victorian terraces in the West End to new builds in Monifieth and Carnoustie, we have fitted shutters and blinds in every type of property across the city and beyond.

Our Dundee Design Studio in Broughty Ferry is one of the few places in Scotland where you can see full size, working displays of shutters and blinds. Not tiny samples pinned to a board. Real shutters on real windows, with louvres you can tilt, panels you can fold, and materials you can touch.

We are not a franchise, and we do not employ salespeople. When you visit our Dundee studio or invite us to your home, you will meet a specialist who knows the products inside out and genuinely wants to help you find the right solution. No commission, no targets, no pressure.
